Astragalus
While there are many different types of herbs and plants in the world, there is one that has long been used in Chinese medicine and is just recently gaining attention in the Western world. As a hope for strengthening the human immune system and increase the body's resistance to deadly viruses, we are all very excited about the research being done on the plants astragalus. Astragalus is actually a species of some 2000 types of herbs and small shrubs which belong to a larger family of plants found it typically in northern hemisphere. While often times on this breed of plan you might find flowers, more often this is a vine like genius and it appears as such.
Far from just a medicinal plant, astragalus produces a natural gum called tragacanth which is used in both textiles and pharmaceuticals. This combo has been found to help the immune system and increase the body's resistance to common viruses. In the Western world up until recently astragalus has primarily been used as an enhancement for metabolism, digestion, and has been only consumed as a tea made from the plants roots.

Astragalus with all its recent attention has now been determined to be a benefit for all sorts of things including muscle pain relief, anti-aging, and other sorts of general health benefits. While the side effects of such a newly crowned medicine as astragalus have not been fully explored, its use is both as an herb and is the plant somewhat debunk those myths. Most things found in nature are typically very beneficial for us lest we destroy them.
While this is still a very difficult thing to comprehend there are things out there that we do not yet know about. It should only be highlighted by our recent trips to outer space, our discovery of new things every day, and are continuing struggle to find out more that mystery shrouding the astragalus plant should not really surprise anybody. There may even be benefits to astragalus and the penis; we're not really sure just yet. Any long-term health effects have not yet been determined just because the use of the herb and Western medicine has not yet reached that long-term stage.
